Walk in Water
The season on Walk in Water, which doesn't
happens to be the spawning season all of the time. This is one the those hidden
jewels in the ruff, has the capacity to produce very good numbers, but also the
capability of producing the double digit trophy bass we all desire. They like to
spawn around the full and new moons in February and March. The post-spawn in
April and May always leads to great fun. Unlike some lakes, this lake likes to
continue thru out the summer with great action as they school on shad. This can
continue thru November if weather permitting. Walk in Water is a great for
artificial lures as well as shiner fishing. You have the option of Crank baits,
Carolina rigging, topwater, Spinner baits, rattletraps, senkos and 10" worms all
work very well. Live bait, as usual, is very productive for more consistently
producing trophy size bass, but if you work the right lures in the right places
artificial lures can be year around. A low pressured lake leads to better
fishing and having more fun!
Tight lines and good fishing!

Kissimmee
The season on Lake Kissimmee is very similar to
most of the Central Florida Big Lakes. Lake Kissimmee is best known for it's big
fish that it produced in
the 2006 BASS Master Classic. That event was held in February, any time in
February or March are great times for trophy size bass. The pre-spawn and
post-spawn are both pretty good on this lake. It has lost of grass, with good
amounts of hydrilla for big fish cover. This is one the biggest lakes in the
Central Florida chain, it has the capacity to produce very good numbers, but also the
capability of producing the double digit trophy bass we all desire. Lake
Kissimmee is a fantastic lake for
artificial lures as well as shiner fishing. You have the option of learning the
most popular big fish technique, which is flipping or using crank baits,
Carolina rigging, topwater, spinner baits, rattletraps, senkos, frogs and 10" worms all
work very well. Live bait, as usual, is very productive for more consistently
producing trophy size bass year around!
Tight lines and good fishing!
