We
hope this helps take some of the guess work out of your fishing trip for you.
When you call our toll free number, you get
to talk to a knowledgeable guide……… not a
booking service. We are there to answer any questions or uncertainties you may
have, which could typically include travel plans and accommodations.
Once your questions have been
answered and
you have decided on a date, we immediately ask for your contact information and
make your tentative reservation. We ask that you confirm your reservation with a
deposit, either by credit card or check. The amount of the deposit varies with
the amount of days and fishing packages chosen.
We do not charge your credit card at this time; it is simply to verify the
reservation. If customers are able to
provide us with an email address, we will send trip confirmation information,
including meeting location, directions and time. This information can
also be faxed, text messaged to your cell phone or given to you over the phone. One thing is for certain, if you have a confirmed reservation to fish
with us, we will be there. We are
available to answer any questions as often as you need prior to your trip,
anytime between
8am
and
8pm EST or at any time via email.
On the day of your trip, you will be greeted
by one of our courteous and professional guides at the pre-arranged location.
(It could be at your hotel lobby, a local park’s ramp or at the local
marina.) You will also at this time have the opportunity to discuss what kind or
style of fishing you would like to experience. Your guide will recommend what bait and style of fishing has been working best
over the last couple of days. This is also a great time to pickup your fishing
license if you haven't done so. Our boats have a built-on cooler complete with
ice, awaiting your favorite beverage.
Alcohol
is also permitted.
After our greeting and meeting, we will then
proceed to our fishing destination on the lake, where our guides will assist and
advise you on how to best catch the fish.
While on the water you can be assured that we will work very hard to
produce fish for you. We are constantly striving to raise the standard by which
other guide services are measured.
Once your trip is over, you will be taken
back to the original meeting location, and at this time you will settle your
bill for your trip in full, less any deposits. You can use your credit card or
feel free to pay cash or check. Gratuity is not included in the
trip, nor is it expected. Gratuity is something over and above payment which is
earned. If you feel like you were not given the very best equipment and the very
best effort on the part of your guide, please do not give gratuity. However, if
you would like to show your gratitude to your guide, a good standard tip is
usually 20% or higher. Again, this
is entirely up to you and your party as to the amount, but please do not feel
obligated in anyway.
If you have any other questions
or concerns about what to
expect, please feel free to contact us.
We look forward to talking and fishing with
each and every one of you!
