Everglades Fishing Guides - Fort Lauderdale

We truly enjoy taking anglers fishing of all skill levels from beginner to expert out for an action packed fishing adventure. Anglers travel from all around the globe to vacation and go fishing in the unspoiled waters of the South Florida Everglades including the remote outpost of Everglades National Park and wildlife refuge fishing. We will take you fishing in these unforgettable destinations where we'll fish and sight see for some of the most amazing species you have ever seen in one location fishing.

The Everglades fishing is mostly done with fast moving baits, top water plugs, frogs, snakes, big worms, spoons and buzz baits, although plastic worms fishing works well also. You see most of the strikes before they happen and the battle can be quite exhausting. Everglades is like no where else in the world, the Florida Everglades is the largest remaining sub-tropical wilderness in the continental United States.

The Florida Everglades holds the state record for the highest number of fish caught per person, per hour of any fishery in the state. "Static's from the Florida fish and game wildlife department." When you consider all the great lakes and rivers in Florida that's impressive. So if your looking for action, you have found it. Our Florida fishing guides have the most experience and extensive knowledge in fishing the Everglades. Native to the area, our knowledge and service is second to none, just like our boats, rods & reels and tackle that you will be using.  We guarantee it with our NO  FISH, NO PAY policy!

The abundant wildlife includes rare and colorful birds, and is the only place in the world where alligators and crocodiles exist side by side. The Everglades covers several million miles of area and is a awesome place for bass fishing. It starts at the southern shore of Lake Okeechobee and extends south to the Florida Bay. Most of this entire area is completely covered by water most of the year and mainly consist of sawgrass and sloughs filled with lily pads and dry areas called hammocks. The majority of the Everglades is accessible from self maid canals which perimeter most of the areas and are used to access the interior portion, where most of the bass fishing is done.

As you get deeper into the swamp the water becomes very shallow. You become surrounded with sawgrass, lily pads and wildlife and you have enter the home of the Florida Alligator, where he is free to pray and always watching your every move. Soon after catching your first fish you will become part of the birds, alligators and other wildlife as seen and heard by the deafening silence of mother nature.

Everglades fishing is very diverse, from the shallow back country grass flats, to the outside islands and canal systems. The water fluctuate in depth through out most of the year forcing us to fish the outer perimeter canal system, Although it may not sound as glamorous it can and has produced some of the best fishing adventures to date.

It's water system specialty is largemouth bass fishing, the worlds most sought after game fish. Although there are a list of other species to be caught, like the (Bowfin), (Oscar), (Warmouth), (Midas cichlid), (Mayan cichlid), (Walking catfish), (Blue catfish), (Channel catfish), (Florida gar), (Redbreast sunfish), (Bluegill), (Redear sunfish), (Spotted sunfish), (largemouth bass), (Golden shiner), (Black crappie), (Grass carp),  (Common carp), (Shiner) and (Chain pickerel).

While fishing for one the many fish available you'll be sure to see several of these other wondering species like the American Bittern, American Kestrel, American White Pelican, Bald Eagle, Otter, Fabulous Butterflies, Cerulean Warbler, Crested Caracara, Eastern Bluebird, Florida Grasshopper Sparrow, Florida Scrub-Jay, Florida Snail Kite, Fox Squirrel, Gopher Frog, Marsh Rabbit, Osprey, Red-cockaded Woodpecker, Wood Stork, Brown Pelican and Burrowing Owl. Then there are the gators, which look like half-sunken logs floating calmly in the water until you see their eyeballs at the waterline peeking up at you.

The sounds are musical, and the sights breath taking - with both sunrise and sunset visible on the horizon.
It is very comfortable, an almost bug free despite the assumption of most.

So be sure to bring your camera, come see the sights and catch lots of fish near Naples, Ft Lauderdale and Miami!
